Working in the industry for over 20 years Simon started out as a carpentry apprentice and progressed via the traditional career pathway from apprentice to carpentry foreman cutting his teeth on building sites across London and the south east. His carpentry specialism enabled Simon to work alongside the full spectrum of trades involved in construction. Simultaneously giving him a unique insight into all aspects of the building process.The past decade has seen Simon working in construction management with roles as site foreman, site manager and contracts manager – allowing him to hone the knowledge and skills that led to the creation of Norton Carpentry & Construction.
