In his first few years Simon worked on various supply chain assessments, optimization implementations and performance management systems for local and international companies such as Namibian Breweries, Alliance One Tobacco, Decorland, Cipla Medpro and Cipla Limited (India) amongst others. The success of two of the projects in particular has led to follow on business in related companies.A large part of Simon’s recent focus has been on the development of standardized systems and processes to reduce implementation time of the business solution. This has included research on decision making systems in the supply chain, automation of outsourced planning functions and development of a scalable application for inventory planning.Simon has an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Stellenbosch and is now a director of FinStock based in Somerset West.
