Pursuing an MS degree in Engineering Sciences with a concentration in Energy Engineering. Researching a robust yet simple way to generate heat from wind for application in Arctic homes to offset fossil fuel-powered heating systems and reduce harmful emissions.

Designed and tested a custom device to measure heat flow through polar firn samples from South Pole. Submitted a journal paper to the Journal of Glaciology (in review) with the novel findings to provide modeling tools to climate scientists studying the melt of ice sheets.Senior Honors Thesis, "The Thermal Conductivity of Polar Firn":

Designed and coded two interactive textbooks for an introductory programming course at Thayer to provide approximately 100 students per year with cohesive sources for all course material. Integrated coding environments, interactive lecture videos, course notes, and in-class activities into the textbooks while closely collaborating with Thayer faculty and software designers.

Served as Head TA for ENGS 20, a fundamental coding course in C and MATLAB taken by all Engineering majors and minors at Dartmouth. Managed teams of 15 TAs to assist approximately 200 students over two terms to create a solid foundation in the coding languages, grading around 150 assignments and providing 20+ hours of individualized support to students each term.

Facilitated communications between the faculty and 5 TAs to schedule twice-weekly help sessions and 12 lab sessions for 30 undergraduate students over four terms. Graded 140 problem sets and 120 quizzes and designed the overall grading schedule for all TAs each term.

Led fast-paced, interactive language practice sessions with beginner German language students to rapidly improve their speaking and comprehension skills.

Tutor at Thayer School of Engineering

Utilized the Rassias Method to teach English in an immersive setting to 200 elementary and middle school students in Chaoyang District, Beijing, to increase the students’ English comprehension, listening, and speaking skills.
