For the last 20 years, I have been planning, executing and leading research and development efforts in the field of injury biomechanics, human-based physical models and personal protection against ballistic, blast and blunt impact threats. I have built and led several collaborations with the academia and other research organizations around the world. I have acted as a national expert on different technical groups under both TTCP and NATO. Above all else, I serve as a scientific advisor to the Canadian forces on specific topics related to personal protection and injury, currently focusing on the prevention and mitigation of TBI in the military population.
