Collaborating closely with design consultant, Salop Creative, I have worked with clients such as Novus Imports (wholesale distributors), Red Step Marketing (marketing consultancy), Lost Pop Records (independent record label) and numerous community interest companies developing bespoke CMS and E-Commerce web applications. Being the sole developer on all projects, I am proficient in the entire lifecycle of development, from server setup (unix, nginx, passenger, unicorn/rainbows) through backend development (Ruby on Rails, mongodb/postgresql) to frontend (html/html5, jQuery, emberjs and coffeescript).

Involved in developing a bespoke internal CRM and project management tool using Django and Python, NodeJS, other tasks also involved PHP and Wordpress, Magento and Yii site development and maintenance.

I returned to iDEA initially on a freelance basis to help with their large workload. While working closely with the lead developer on existing projects, I lead several projects and helped train an existing PHP developer in Ruby on Rails.

I joined iDEA to take over as the lead Ruby on Rails developer, working with high profile clients, and developing large scale intranet applications, while bringing agile and test driven practices to the development team.Refactoring and upgrading existing projects to keep up with the ever-moving web technologies and increase performance and security.
