I have experience and expertise in front-end web development and graphic design stretching back well into the last century! I am hard-working and self-motivated to get things done and meet deadlines.I am highly skilled with several vector graphic and DTP/ layout editor platforms, including Adobe CC and Affinity. My technical graphic skills include logo design, corporate identity/style guides, biological artwork, scientific equipment, package design, conference and trade show booths, brochures, flyers, magazines, manuals and documentation.I am highly skilled in HTML, CSS, Sass, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, React and various templating systems. I have designed dozens of frontend themes/ templates for web content management systems (WordPress, Magento, HubSpot and others), static website generators (Jekyll, Harp, Gulp, Eleventy, Gatsby) and marketing email systems (Campaign Monitor, Vertical Response, Mailchimp, HubSpot).I have built websites for several small businesses and startups, and I designed, built, added content and maintained the REPROCELL Europe (formerly Reinnervate) website and REPROCELL global websites for several years. I am currently employed as the Strategy and Marketing Planner for REPROCELL where I continue building and maintaining the global biotech company’s online presence, on Visualsoft and HubSpot. I have an increasing role in online marketing (website, blogging and social media), while still producing paper based and canvas based marketing materials.I have a background in chemistry and molecular biology, laboratory work, university biotech spin-out business, in designing scale-up manufacturing systems for polymerisation processes and in writing COSHH documentation, SOPs, training manuals and other internal and external-facing literature.When I am not geeking out on computers and gadgets, my other hobbies include hill walking around the north of England, and cooking real food.
