Responsible for interior and interaction design within Geely Design Sweden with focus on building the ‘Lynk & co’ brand for Geely automobile. This included being part of the leadership team responsible for building up the department, facilities and brand identity. The work also involved extensive travel to China gaining experience of Chinese culture and customer requirements.

Hareide Design was established in 2000 and has worked with a vast array of projects from different industries including automotive, maritime and product. Hareide Design currently has studios in Oslo and Gothenburg and has been acknowledged with many design accolades including several Red Dot ‘best of the best’ and IF Gold awards. Tasks included all aspects of the operation and development of the Gothenburg studio, creative and financial, responsibility for the quality of design work, staff development and for quality of quotations and customer contact.

Led a multi-disciplinary studio team working with the 9-5 Carline. During this period I was also simultaneously leading teams working on several projects based in Detroit.• 2002 9-5 MCE.

Design Lead in multi-disciplinary team located ‘offsite’ from the main Saab campus in a showcase facility, which focused on the future of the Saab Brand, looking at Brand strategy, technology, product portfolio and design. We worked outside of the main project process, being flexible, fast and creative.

Joint Lead designer during the advanced design stage of what became the Cadillac SRX, included work to evolve the then new ‘Art and Science’ Cadillac form language.

Responsible for the Interior Design team

Involvement in all stages of design development from concept through to product execution, interior and exterior.

Worked on a diverse range of projects predominantly automotive but also product design. Included the limited production ‘Max’ roadster, automotive accessories for major brands, furniture, & the roller coaster for the 1988 Seoul Olympics!
