I joined Primaflow F&P at a particularly exciting time, where I was able to oversee the transition from an outdated Unix based order processing system to a modern ERP system while ensuring business continuity. At the same time the site was moving to a new larger premises to accommodate the growing business.With the transition to the new system complete I continued to provide day-to-day IT support for the Bedford site with occasional visits to the other business sites to provide support and training as required.The new system enabled the data driven reports and dashboards to monitor performance for sales and warehouse staff. Coordinating with managers to understand their needs I would write these reports and configure the dashboards to suit their requirements.

As part of a small team in a local independent computer shop the role had many nuances from serving customers in person and on the phone, diagnosing and repairing a variety of systems. I also provided on-site support to a variety of businesses and domestic customers that weren't able to come to the shop.
