• Manufacturing Quality Engineering Leader:
• Manage HPI Manufacturing Quality Engineer team who is on-site in ODM (ODM: HPI Contract Manufacturer).
• Develop quality plan to deploy quality control and quality improvement activities in ODM, and take lead MQE team to execute the quality plan.
• Monitor ODM quality performance of new product and sustaining product including manufacturing yield rate, outgoing reject rate. Initiate projects on top manufacturing issues for improvement.
• Provide quality guidance to design and process optimization with manufacturing and field data analysis.
• Take lead to conduct Quality System Assessment on all HPI ODMs in China region.

• Monitor process yields throughout line. Recognize and help solve yield-decreasing problem. Implement and drive internal corrective actions. Guide and advice QA engineer.
• Carry out experimentation, process capability studies, or other technical evaluation to improve yield and quality and UPH.
• Drive corrective actions for customer by carrying out root cause failure analysis.
• Participate in purge and MRB meeting to ensure proper disposition of discrepant material.
• Approve visual aids for inspection and ensure the process being done in compliance with the Cisco Deviation and ECN Authorization.
• Support Quality Indicators – Ensure Work cell meets the quality goals set for every quarter.

• Daily con-call with Cisco US design team & quality team to review the solution of quality issue during new products pilot run (NPI). Drive all open action items to closure.
• Quarterly come out SAQ (Single Agenda Quality). Use 6 Sigma tool to do VRT (Variation reduction team) improvement.
• Finished over 10 6 Sigma VRT projects: ICT technology optimized to improve UPH; Improve ICT first pass yield; Improve function test first pass yield; Reduce component co-planarity failure rate; Reduce SMT solder bridge.
• Host and drive weekly DRT (Defect Reduce Team for sustaining products) meeting and QIT (Quality Improvement Team for DOA&EFA boards returned from end users) with Cisco US NPIE &quality team to review the solutions of.
• Host and drive weekly RMA meeting with Foxconn USA, Foxconn HK, Foxconn CZ sites to review the solution of quality issue occurred Foxconn oversea DF sites. Drive all open action items to closure.
• Drive FA to better product and process. Drive FA to increase yield rate, robust design, performance of supplier and customer satisfaction.
