I have also developed robust governance and strategic development experience through Board roles, am a current Board Director with AFAM and have held previous Board roles for Downtown Tauranga and Export Bay of Plenty.I genuinely care about our people and our clients and for this reason I have fostered an environment that promotes and supports the best health and safety protocols in the industry, allowing us to respond to our customer needs proactively and with agility. Fire Security Services specialise in all things related to detecting fires and protecting assets, from selling and servicing fire extinguishers and smoke alarms, completing the warrant of fitness process for buildings, through to facilitating Fire Warden and extinguisher training and undertaking trial evacuations. I have been key in leading the team through significant change, recruiting new staff and embedding processes that have ensured the delivery of industry-best fire services, products and training. To support the organisation’s transformation I have implemented a new software package, to enhance the operations of the business in addition to increasing efficiency and visibility across everything we do. The positive impact on our clients has meant that we are able to give customers real-time visibility over their fire protection status, quickly address issues and ensure that customers are up to building and fire service standards.
