Uganda Safe City Cctv Camera Project

Responsible for CCTV Systems installation, integration, support and End User Training in CCTV Camera management, Investigations, Proactive and reactive monitoring, Incident Tracking, Response and Management and all front and back end interrelated software applications for the Uganda Safe City CCTV Cameras. Currently supporting Uganda Police Forces under Kampala Metropolitan Policing Area.

After gaining recommendable Experience in the IT Infrastructure Management & Support As A Unix System Engineer Under Wipro Technologies, I am currently contracted by Huawei Technologies - Uganda to support the MTN - Uganda ITSS Infrastructure Platform. I am currently stationed in Uganda while supporting the ITSS Hub which supports Rwanda, Zambia, Swaziland, South Sudan & Uganda and ICT South Africa. I am mainly involved in Managing Linux / Unix (OEL, RHEL. RHEV, Solaris, HPUX) Servers. The servers managed host several applications that support the MTN Telecommunications Services across the countries supported.

I was responsible for Installation of new Server hardware environments with Solaris, Oracle Linux and Red-hat Operating System. Perform both proactive and reactive monitoring of all the servers to ensure availability. Perform continuous maintenance of the servers through patching and security enhancement.
