• Strategy, governance and ownership of key asset management IT systems • Accountable for provision of services in: o Enterprise Asset Management (Maximo) and GIS (Smallworld) Business Support o E-Form, digitisation and process automation services o Business Intelligence and analytics o Strategic IT roadmap o IT regulatory submissions o Operational process improvement initiatives

Key Responsibilities:• Project manage and deliver Business and Technology projects on time, to budget and to quality• Accountable for all project management aspects including: o Project Management Plans o Work Breakdown Structures o Project schedules o Project financials o Risks and issues logs o Change requests and management o Reporting o Vendor management o Team/resource management o Cost/ Benefits analysis

• Support the delivery of capital project portfolio (comprising of Network, IT, Facilities, Land, and Engineering projects equivalent to approximately $100+M each year)• Accountable for provision of services in: o Annual capital project business plan (5 year plan) o Resource planning to deliver the business plan o Portfolio reporting and analysis o Business Intelligence tools o Continuous improvement of project management processes and tools

Key Responsibilities:• Contribution towards business unit strategies and processes• Participation in PMO Management Meetings• Management of key stakeholder expectations of the Portfolio Analyst team• Co-ordination of the 10 year Business Plan of capital projects• Management of Capex Business Plan presentations for the EMT and Board• Analysis of resourcing requirements to meet the capital works program• Analysis of project and portfolio performance against plan• Regular Capex Portfolio Status Presentations for Senior Management • Management of regular performance reports on the capital project portfolio• Participation in relevant portfolio Management forums to continually improve capital project and portfolio performance• Mentoring and assistance to other Portfolio Analyst team members• Continuous improvement of reporting and analysis processes and deliverables • Management of Capex Dashboards• Management of project Change Control Process • Business Process Expert for Project/Portfolio Management systems and processes• Promote the need for robust capex portfolio planning, forecasting and reporting

Key Responsibilities:• Acting/Manager Data Analysis & Corporate Reporting whilst Direct Manager was on leave• Manage the development of a major ‘Health of SA’ publication• Manage projects aimed at investigating aspects of the health system• Analysis and provision of complex data-sets• Maintenance of data integrity• Corporate report writing• Statistical publications, information bulletins and online products• Marketing and promoting the products and services of the unit• Expert advice on statistical methods and the analysis, interpretation and presentation of data• Manage the Departments statutory reporting obligations• Assist in the effective day to day running of the Department • Initiate business process improvements• Presenting technical data to stakeholders in non-technical terms
