The Welsh Christian Safeguarding Forum will aim to provide a unified voice on safeguarding matters. This will include speaking with a united voice in response to Welsh Government and National Safeguarding Board policy and strategy consultations.2. Aims and ObjectivesOur vision will be delivered through the aims and objectives outlined below.• To develop working relationships and networking opportunities for Safeguarding Leads in member organisations.• To promote networking and sharing best practice through reviewing of policies and practice.• To develop links with Welsh Government, Statutory Authorities, Local Safeguarding Children Boards, Adult Safeguarding Boards, other Faith based Safeguarding Forums, Children’s Commissioner for Wales, Older Person’s Commissioner for Wales and other relevant bodies.• To share information regarding safeguarding training events and conferences across Wales.The Welsh Christian Safeguarding Forum is committed to working closely with Safeguarding Professionals from all faith groups.
