VisionThe Welsh Christian Safeguarding Forum is an inter-denominational network meeting of Safeguarding Professionals in Christian Organisations.Our vision is for Christian organisations within Wales to provide safe organisations for children, young people, vulnerable adults and survivors of abuse in line with evidence and research-based best practice. The Welsh Christian Safeguarding Forum will aim to provide a unified voice on safeguarding matters. This will include speaking with a united voice in response to Welsh Government and National Safeguarding Board policy and strategy consultations.2. Aims and ObjectivesOur vision will be delivered through the aims and objectives outlined below.• To develop working relationships and networking opportunities for Safeguarding Leads in member organisations.• To promote networking and sharing best practice through reviewing of policies and practice.• To develop links with Welsh Government, Statutory Authorities, Local Safeguarding Children Boards, Adult Safeguarding Boards, other Faith based Safeguarding Forums, Children’s Commissioner for Wales, Older Person’s Commissioner for Wales and other relevant bodies.• To share information regarding safeguarding training events and conferences across Wales.The Welsh Christian Safeguarding Forum is committed to working closely with Safeguarding Professionals from all faith groups. This will be facilitated through the development of strong links with the inter-faith council for Wales and other bodies, and with the Welsh Assembly Cross Party Working Group on Faith. The Welsh Christian Safeguarding Forum will maintain strong links with the UK focused Churches Forum for Safeguarding and other relevant National Forums.

In my role as associate for CCPAS covering Wales I deliver training to Churches and Christian communities in relation to a wide range of safeguarding matters involving children and adults.I undertake management investigations, audit and review, risk assessments along with a variety of specialist services for the Christian Community in Wales.I have worked together with all denominations and christian organisations in Wales to form the Welsh Christian Safeguarding Forum. I currently chair the Welsh Christian Safeguarding Forum which meets every quarter.

Safeguarding Provision is a family run consultancy service for businesses and organisations working with Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults, helping them to provide safe and productive environments. We offer a wide range of services around Safeguarding Training and Business Consultancy but also wider business management consultancy such as Strategic Executive Management, Change management, project management and research and development.We are currently looking for new opportunities to add to our existing work being undertaken.

Supply Teaching - varied periods of placement in different schools across Cardiff Newport and the Valleys.

Taught Geography to 11-16 year olds. Assisted with Drama as an extra curricular activity. Enabled 14 - 16 year olds to put performances of Oklahoma and Guys and Dolls along with Christmas and End of Year Performances.
