I lead the Security Division at the University of Montreal is committed to ensuring a safe environment for the university community, which consists of over 80,000 people across 7 cities and 5 campuses. This diverse community is spread across various facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, sports facilities, hospital installations, offices, residences, and clinics in a wide range of fields.To fulfill this mission, I lead the following functions: - Special Constables Corps - Approximately 100 prevention and security officers - Advisory and Training Team - Electronic and Technological Solutions Team

Following a company reform, all operations were added to my responsibility, now looking in addition to Secure Logistics (cash-in-transit and secure transportation of people), and Facilities Management.✔ Established and grew company operations functions.✔ Built a strong, resilient team by identifying and onboarding highly qualified candidates for key senior management positions.✔ Developed, implemented, and refined processes, training, and technology controls for all old and new departments✔ Enhanced operations with new and improved procedures targeting underperforming areas.✔ Continued general operations management as per previous position.

The Protective Services is one of the operations branches including manned guarding and Business Assurance Operations (an unarmed version of close protection), plus the Emergency Coordination Center that moved in to my team in December 2019.✔ Directed activities of 1700 security personnel, guarding 250 sites across Myanmar, from various clients: embassies, oil & gas, UNs, iNGOs, telecommunications, international schools, estates, factories, and more.✔ Maintained and improved the management system and people on the following aspects: training & continuous learning, procedures, technology & equipment, leadership, and supervision.✔ Maintained and implemented new tools to comply and track compliance to high internal standards and ISO18788 (management of security operations), OHSAS18001, and ISO9001.✔ Managed crises and developed business resilience surrounding the COVID and the coup d'état that brought upon Myanmar disruptions in communications, transportation, recruiting, and payroll, as well as a failure of the banking system, hospitals, immigration, and major critical infrastructure.✔ Developed new services of security risk assessment, evacuation planning, and security-related training courses.✔ Acted as acting-CEO during the coup d'état when communications were down for months.

Operations Management✔ Directed activities of 600 security personnel according to operational policies and applicable regulations.✔ Improved of internal management processes✔ Managed clients, prepared and followed-up short, medium & long-term action plans.✔ Trained Regional security managers and Security coordinators.✔ Created site and shift security supervisors training courses and activities (leadership, management, reports, controls and security).Security Advisory✔ Implemented physical security program and completed periodic security inspections to verify corporate compliance.✔ Developed & implemented Security Standard Operating Procedures.✔ Conducted project management (launch of new contracts, ISO/OHSAS implementation, etc.)✔ Managed private investigations cases.

Operational Intelligence Watch Officer (Maritime Security Operation Center, East) - Royal Canadian Navy✔ Monitored and evaluated maritime traffic elements that could represent a risk for the East coast and Artic in order to ensure a high-level of security to Canada.✔ Worked jointly with Canadian governmental agencies (RCMP, CCG, CBSA, Transport Canada, Health Canada, etc.) as well as partners from other elements of the Canadian and Allied Armed forces (US Armed Forces, NATO, NORAD, etc.)✔ Coordinated intelligence functions in collaboration with government representatives from other intelligence agencies.✔ Briefed the admiral and other high-ranked militaries on a weekly basis about the current state of maritime and coastal security.✔ Provided answers to situations which requires the knowledge that only the operational intelligence watch officer detains.Division Officer - Naval Reserve✔ Managed about 10 personnel from the NavComms division.✔ Monitored progress of training and objectives.✔ Conducted biannual evaluation of members and management administration tasks.Open-Source Intelligence Analysis - Naval reserve✔ Answered intelligence requirements and general or specific questions on multiple fields of interest, based on open-source.✔ Analyzed information and evaluated the security of Canadian forces resources that could be targeted by any threat.✔ Analyzed gathered intelligence and validated using data acquired from other sources.✔ Drafted comprehensive reports and detailing collection and analysis of intelligence data.

I managed two cultural programs where I had to lead, manage, and coordinate student volunteers. Although not related to my career per say, as John Maxwell says, the ability to lead volunteers is the best proof of leadership.
