At X9 I undertake general emergency medical technician duties or patient transport duties as required to assist in the safe transportation of our clients. I also play a part in the companies bariatric service. Here at X9 I am able to use full emt skills including cardiac monitoring and technician drugs.

As an EMT in the private sector I have been subjected to working in a wide variety of health care environments ranging from busy a&e departments, busy NHS ambulance services, hospital wards and care homes whilst undertaking patient transfers. The main role of my job is providing clinical support to clinicians as required, when these clinicians are not.

I started as member of the SJA as a cadet, aged 11 at the Grays division. I played an active member of the youth team, staffing various different youth events. At the age of 18 and no longer a cadet, I moved to Castle Point Cadets as an adult leader. By the age of 20 I was promoted to a grade 6 officer (one pip). After 2 years I decided a change was in.

I started my career here as a delivery driver, I picked up the job well and began being able to undertake site visits to suggest correct equipment for certain tasks, demonstration of equipment and on-site test inspection and repair. From here I was asked to move to an on-site depot in west London as a hire controller working solo. My trial here went well.
