Managing sustainability and environmental management within the Central, Wales & West Region, including the implementation and maintenance of ISO14001 certified EMS. Responsible for establishing a Company Sustainability Strategy and building and motivating a Sustainability Team to drive change throughout the company.Involved with a wide range of disciplines throughout the company, including business development, liaising with consultants, architects and design teams to improve environmental performance and championing sustainable construction methodologies ensuring the best possible materials and systems are utilised. Key areas of focus include:• Implementation, revision and maintenance of ISO14001 & ISO9001 certification• Environmental Management Systems• Maximising Social Value delivered to local communities• Prequalification and Tendering• Verification and Implementation of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Assessment• Reviewing EIA, contaminated land, Site Investigation Reports, Ecology Reports• Waste Management and Resource Efficiency• Carbon Footprinting• Energy and Water Resource efficiency• Influencing building design and material procurement – lifecycle assessment• Sustainable Development• Educating and Auditing supply chain to improve sustainable performance• Establishing Sustainable strategy for the business • Environmental Law and ensuring compliance• Conducting Environmental Risk Assessments• BREEAM (Assessor and AP)

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Company Quality and Environmental Management Systems as well as ensuring all business operations across the region were conducted in accordance with applicable environmental legislation and best practice.
