We supply Bromma the industry leader of Container Crane Spreaders with specialist service Engineers. RTG Fuel saving systems supplied and installed. The fuel saving system installed on the RTG could save 25% fuel usage (depending on utilisation). The main PLC control, Lighting and Heating systems will run from a stable drive regulated supply, whilst the Diesel engine is shut down to idle speed and the main power from the generator is lowered to about 310V. Whilst in idle all main drive motions will be disabled and on driver command the system will restart to full speed and allow full movement of the RTG again.

Support, commission and fault find Bromma spreader control systems in the Container Port Business.I also work and support the electrical Research and Development department. This is to integrate and develop new control systems for continuous improvement to the customer experience. Within this role I field test and report back findings and help modify the system to meet the customers requirements.

Supply sales and technical support to the Container Ports in the UK and Europe. Work along side Kalmar for the refurbishment of Nelcon Straddle Carriers in a Uk Port.

Day to Day running of the Engineering Workshop and Engineering Department. Responsible for 27 maintenance staff and Port equipment of 28 straddle carriers and 7 Ship to Shore Cranes.Also included Project management of 2 new Ship to Shore cranes, including interface between OEM and Bromma with and overall project cost of £33 million.

Working with fully automated RMG cranes and Ship to shore cranes. I was involved with routine maintenance and fault finding through the beginning of my time with Thamesport. I then changed roles and became Project Engineer which included the running of Crane refurbs and setting up new equipment.As Automation Manager I carried on with the general duties from Project Engineer, extra duties included over seeing a Multi-million pound expansion project of 7 fully automated RMG's and Ship to shore cranes.High level of experience in programming and fault finding on PLC and Drive systems. Including PLC and Drives such as General Electric DC300, Siemens Masterdrive, GESeries 6 ,Siemens S5 and S7.
