My career has given me a wealth of experience across the gas and electricity energy sector. As a highly trained and competent dual fuel smart meter installer I gained a healthy respect for the hazards we are exposed to every day. During my time in a safety auditor role, I took pride in identifying opportunities to improve the work environment, and proactively innovate to deliver change. NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely and TAQA qualifications have been key additions to my skill set.I spent some of my career in the fast paced and growing industry of Electric Vehicle Chargers which added a whole new set of skills qualifying as an 18th edition Domestic Installer, and I am very excited to see what the future holds for green energy and renewables.I now work in the world of Gas emergency response for Cadent Gas which is the most exciting job I have done. Everyday is filled with challenges and problem solving to help keep the energy flowing for our customers and keep everyone safe. I am very keen to learn more about Future Energies and Hydrogen as we look to achieve Net Zero with my career focused in that direction.
