I have been working in the transport industry for 5 years now and have extensive experience, not only in customer service and order processing, but in supply chain and transport planning also (i.e. working time directive, knowledge of road networks). I do have some experience with Warehousing but this is limited.I have excellent communication skills with both email and via phone with a polite and welcoming demeanor. I have no concerns about making my point face to face either, whether with a single client or in a meeting environment. This has lead me to have very strong connections with my customers who feel they can rely on my expertise and tenacity to get the job done.I have very good IT skills and have completed several Skillgate qualifications in Outlook, Excel & Powerpoint. I am currently working with RoadRunner Professional but I am a quick study and would be versatile in training on any new database system required.I am a qualified first aider.I am very punctual, reliable with very few sick days taken. I am also flexible in my approach to work as I have worked shifts in the past and also weekends on both regular shifts and covering.I have a full UK driving license with a clean record.I would say I have a very positive personality and I set very high standards for myself, which I would hope would spill over to any colleagues I am currently working with. I would always prefer positive encouragement to any problem in the aim of finding a solution, although sometimes a tough call must be made.I have a NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration and an NVQ Level 2 in Transport Administration.My previous employments include Retail, Hospitality & trade industries.
