ResMed is a market leader in sleep related disorders and treatments with a global footprint. I have successfully set up from scratch a successful market aware mobility strategy and programme. In addition I am a senior member of the HR executive. This included responsibility for the HR structure, alignment with corporate objectives, major HR initiatives and budget.

Transformed the mobility strategy to align with talent. Responsible for the provision of benefits globally and led a reward job sizing exercise to support a major restructure within the company.

The role was offered following the takeover of ABN AMRO by a consortium led by RBS. As part of the Reward Leadership Team critical successes of the role included leading a 4 bank group to separate and integrate the mobility and deferred compensation programmes of ABN AMRO, transforming mobility within RBS to include policy redesign and vendor improvement. Leading the overall benefit strategy to include redesign and better penetration of the company's products to staff. As part of the deferral plan, introduced an industry first advance plan and led an emergency project to ensure the company's hedged assets were protected following an unexpected event.

Originally hired to run the mobility function, the role was increased over time to be responsible for all indirect compensation across the group (Retail, Investment and Asset Management). Over the seven years this resulted in both process improvements, a better linkage to company strategy and large cost savings and optimisation to the company. The deferral plan included a co-investment section that was an industry first using 3rd party leverage to improve employee returns.

Held a senior position on the most important client in the financial services sector advising the VIP section of that client. Designed and introduced a better process to reduce time spent of the use of prior year’s information.
