I can't believe I've been involved in construction for over 40 years!These days I generally PM the construction of high end bespoke homes for private individuals with less constrained budgets, lots of gadgets, miles of bespoke joinery, huge expanses of glass and decidedly unique facades.The homes I build are simply beautiful.My current project is the new Shelter Hall on Brighton upper and lower prom at the bottom of West Street, it's going to be stunning!!..................sorry about the traffic.

September 2005 - July 2007 Senior Projects ManagerStonewest Ltd, St.Pancras Station, Euston Road, London.This is an NEC form of contract.My position was Senior Project Manager for the restorative works to all facades at St.Pancras Station, probably one of the most important Grade 1 listed buildings in London. I was responsible for all brick & stone renewals and repairs on this vast building.Our contract value was set at around 8m but expanded on the scope several times and took on more and more works as directed by the main contractor as and when they discover further dilapidation that was not identified on the original survey.Within our package we also built the new International Entrance which will serve as the termination point for all Eurostar trains and will eventually provide the starting point for a 2 hour and 15 minute trip from St.Pancras to Paris.CORBER are under instruction from Union Railways (the client) who act under advise from English Heritage. With the overall project costing around one billion pounds, I feel sure there will be some interesting legal battles between the main contractor and the client over the final costs, I worked very hard to ensure Stonewest did not become a part of it.We also won a fairly large proportion of the structural works to the new Premier Business Lounge for Eurostar as part of the fit out contract under ISG so the end date was extended into May 2007.
