Simon is a results-driven professional with 20 years’ experience in both senior corporate and operational roles within the mining industry. During his career, he has developed and refined business administration, strategic management and leadership skills with a particular focus on developing safety conscious, team-oriented, high performing workplace cultures.Simon adopts a pragmatic, outcome based approach to business dealings and over the past decade he has been instrumental in successfully negotiating high value mining services and commodity related transactions ranging from $10M to in excess of $1B.During his time in the mining industry, Simon has also built strong relationships with the WA Government, at both a ministerial and departmental level.Simon also has considerable boardroom experience having spent time as company secretary of ASX50 mining company, Mineral Resources Limited, as well as having held a number of non-executive director and chairman positions on both listed and privately held companies.
