Under my management Dentsu Aegis Network ANZ was one of the largest and the most influential marketing and communication groups in the region. With more than 2,500 clients, Dentsu Aegis is responsible for placing 24% of media spend and 25% of digital advertising spend in ANZ – a total of $2.6 billion according to RECMA.As CEO, I led the network’s 22+ agency businesses (from 17) with more than 1,750 staff. This was through a solid focus on talent, clients and M&A which doubled the size of the business in 3 years. My core focus was to ensure the group and it’s agencies remain at the forefront of the industry in ANZ through innovation, high performing talent, scaled investment and increased diversity. I worked closely with the Executive Leadership Team and agency leads to ensure our business is helping clients navigate complexity in the digital economy.
