-Performing technical and nontechnical procedures for experiments -Running polymerase chain reactions (PCR) for genotyping, making and running agarose, and running nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) machine -Maintain, clean, and set up laboratory equipment as well as prepare solutions for experiments and collect tissue samples

-Tutoring students ages 14-18 from University High School in subjects such as math, English, and biology-Providing easy to follow tutorials and practice problems to further assist in review and mastery of material

Managed team of up to four cashiers and “crew members”, trained and supervised new employees, and handled cash register and tabulated the till at the end of night shifts.

Created lessons that invoked insightful, critical thought, communicated with SDSU and Columbia philosophy professors to receive literature and advice for lesson plans, provided a Socratic-style platform for discourse, and coordinated, at the peak, with seven high schools in the San Diego area.

Tutored math subjects from Honors Algebra through Honors Pre-Calculus to high school students, taught and assisted 1st generation Americans/ESL students ages 10-14 the English alphabet, reading, writing, and basic math, provided a flexible schedule, instilled confidence and creativity in thinking, and created easy to follow lesson plans if needed.
