The science of longevity has the potential to re-shape our world: offering longer, healthier lives, alleviating trillions in healthcare costs, and removing decades of suffering people experience in the late stages of life. For many, longevity science sounds like science fiction, but it's not. Protecting your health-span, and taking agency over your biological age, is a paradigm for personal health that we can implement today. I'm currently the Co-President at the Oxford University Society of Aging and Longevity, where we promote, advocate, and discuss Longevity with the leading scientists and thinkers in this field, and aim to impart the the importance of this field within the Oxford University Ecosystem. I feel privileged to work with such an incredible team and in such an incredible place. I'm also leading Jung, making niche longevity solutions accessible to the widest possible audience. The problem we're trying to fix is a huge lack of accessibility, rampant misinformation, and an emotional disconnect and un-relatability between the science of aging and the general public. I think aging is truly a choice, and Jung will help give people the tools to take agency over the aging process. Before all this, I spent a few years as a frontier tech and healthcare venture builder, and before that, 10 years working in the contemporary art world, where I had what could be described as an enviable career, launching a category defining startup (The Moving Museum), helping the world's largest art organization (Art Basel) launch new initiatives around the world, and working alongside leading artists to produce art that won the art world's highest awards and institutions (the Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale, MoMA, The Whitechapel Gallery, Tate). Artists are the truest 'conceptual entrepreneurs' and I'll always find myself advocating thinkers and dreamers who have something important to tell the rest of the world. Carl Jung, (who famously had a midlife crisis, where some of his seminal work came out of) once said, 'life begins at 40, up until then you're just doing research'. At 35, I've seen so much, and yet I feel like I've done absolutely nothing. LinkedIn is a way of taking inventory of all these things, but at the same time, is kind of ridiculous. My dog Dash runs most of the show. So forget about everything above and below - if you got this far (I'm sorry), and if you're building something, dreaming of, thinking about, or exploring ways to push things forward, get in touch and let's just talk!
