• 6 month internship, 3 months training and 3 months practical.• Worked with PLCs, motor drives, sensors, safety circuits, vision systems and other Omron technology.• Studied core principles and fundamentals as well as Omron products in detail using Omron University, a study resource provided by Omron.• learned about Vision Systems and set them up using cameras and lighting modules to inspect faults and cracks on objects through software.• Contributed to a project used to demonstrate the capability of Omron products for a Tech Expo. Project involved programming a PLC to establish communications between two robots, a Cobot (automated robotic arm) and an AMR (automatic-moveable robot). The object was to demonstrate how multiple automotive products can communicate with each other seamlessly to complete a complex task
