• Responsibility for, and training and Managing of an additional 8 staff members which work on site on a Continental shift system, Contracting to TechnipFMC for Visual , DT, MT, PMI, Weld monitoring, Site Radiography and the clients X-ray Bay and Close Proximity Radiography using microfocus site X-ray on Film , GE and Fujifilm (CR) Computer Radiography.

Responsible for 18 Staff total – Radiography Department. Client site based operations with up-to 12 Technicians and Lab support for Aerospace welds and castings , Heavy wall Oil and Gas castings , Industrial Gas Turbines and Coal Industry products with weights up-to 15 tons Planning work based on a 3 shift system for 8 staff. 24 hours per day, 7 days per week in a Laboratory environment with 3 large Gamma bays (Co60, IR192), 1 Large 7.5 Mev Betatron bay and 5 smaller 320 Kv X-ray bays. Other responsibilities include:Audit preparation for NADCAP, UKAS, CAA and general customer audits.Environment Agency, Health & Safety Executive and Security/Terrorist Police Liaison and correspondence, including Licensing, Radioactive source disposal and dosimetry records Notifications for the safe movement of radioactive materials and site plans, including ADR / RPS.Procedure writing and training for (CR) Computer Radiography.Calibration and certification of equipment and monitors.Instruction writing for Local Rules, Risk assessments, Security Policy’s and Exposure Data cards.Booking in / out work for customers and liaising with them to meet their goals and OTIF target’s.
