With over 20 years of experience in the travel and leisure industry, I am passionate about developing and empowering people to achieve their full potential. As a People Development Manager at PGL Travel, I lead and manage teams that ensure our staff have the right training and qualifications to deliver high-quality and safe customer activities. I also oversee projects that improve our processes, systems, and innovations to make our company more agile and efficient. I value collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement, and I strive to foster a culture of learning and growth among our staff and stakeholders.In my current role, I leverage my project management, coaching, and leadership skills to design and implement effective and engaging learning and development programs for our staff. I work with various internal and external partners, such as activity managers, trainers, assessors, and awarding bodies, to ensure our programs meet the industry standards and customer expectations. I also monitor and evaluate the impact and outcomes of our programs and identify areas for improvement and innovation. Some of the projects I have led or supported include introducing a new online learning platform, developing a new apprenticeship scheme, and creating a new feedback system for staff performance.
