Talent Manager - Multiplatform ProductionsBbc Mar 2009 - Jan 2012London, England, Gb•Responsible for Sourcing, hiring, and placing over 300 leading Internet, web design, and interactive television professionals on permanent, short term and freelance contracts, to ensure the BBC is at the pinnacle of Online excellence. •Managed a departmental restructure to achieve 40% staff reduction in the department (120 jobs), this included, drafting and developing new roles for the new structure, developing interviews and selection process for new roles, as well as devising a counseling and redeployment service for those opting to take voluntary redundancy and for those made redundant through the selection process.•Headed up a skills audit of all staff to gain a clear picture of Talent across the department, this was also essential to developing training needs for staff and looking at gaps in terms of Talent.•Responsible for talent management of key staff in terms of development, training and looking at the Business for the future.•Spearheaded, developed and headed up Fair Access to Work Scheme “Vision Intake Pool” www.bbc.co.uk/jobs/vip - applications for this scheme are now in excess of 7,000 per year with approximately 60 placements per year across 4 different locations, London, Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham.•Vision Intake Pool has provided over 155 paid positions across 6 television studios over a 3 year period.
