I am passionate about empowering others to change their lives for the better. Currently, I am a Project Manager at Kent County Council, supporting Kent micro businesses in upskilling and addressing workforce shortages. I also run projects to increase the uptake of Healthy Start and FSM. I am proud to have drafted the Kent Wayleave Toolkit to facilitate affordable, gigabit broadband connectivity for social housing and multi dwelling units in Kent. Previously, I was as an educator and senior leader with a Masters in Education and National Special Needs Coordinator award, working in mainstream and special educational needs schools. Skilled in educating young people and professionals in data systems, IT systems, behaviour management and safeguarding. Providing training to ensure the best outcomes and advocate for people. This includes work with NHS DriveAbility to create a program to assess and support young adults with autism to learn to drive.I have a passion for pensions and represent Kent County Council staff on the Kent Pension Fund Committee. I enjoy all water sports having been fortunate to sail in the Tall Ships races, sail dinghies and helm powerboats (very much a beginner). As a new father, I am enjoying spending time with my young family. I enjoy discovering new experiences and places through travel and I have a keen interest in the use of technology and great design to find solutions.
