Oversee the Boarding and Pastoral provision in a start up school. This involves liaising between both the Bilingual and International sections to provide the best boarding and pastoral experience for our learners. I have also managed the entire school timetable liaising with section Principals and programme coordinators, managed the tutoring and homeroom provision and the set up of the House System.

This is a whole school pastoral position and one of the four founding SMT posts at the school. It has required me to manage the Safeguarding teams across all ages, the delivery of the wellbeing programme, the boarding houseparents and implement an effective tutoring system. As this is a startup school I have had to create all the pastoral policies and oversee their implementation. I was involved in the Phase 1 building project of the boarding house and am about to embark on Phase 2 as we expand. Boarding is compulsory from Y7-12. I have had to manage support facilities with direct impact on the lives of our students. This has involved liaising with Health and Safety, Medical, Catering, Site Security, Transportation, Student Leadership, Gap and Internship staff and producing effective working practices in all these areas. It has also involved creating working communication methods with parents and delivering vision and chairing forums with parents.I have managed the counseling provision, extra curricular programme and the House system at the school

Overview of the pastoral and academic welfare of circa 70 boys from a largely international background. Managed a team of tutors and all the support services required in running a boarding house.

Overview of the pastoral and academic welfare of 300 sixth form students encompassing students with over 20 nationalities. Analysis of pupil performance. Organisation of post 16 PSHE programme. Training and delivery on UCAS applications. Managing the selection process of the school prefects. Member of the Senior Pastoral Team (SMT plus Head of Boarding, Chaplain and Head of Sixth Form).
