In addition to my previous job scope, I’m now in charge of new Cloud products such as Oracle NetSuite. I’ve also been tasked to grow AFON’s new NetSuite division from scratch, assisting in the company’s effort to expand its capabilities. My responsibilities in that regard include training our staff. This new portfolio is part of our new Cloud-first strategy in line with industry trends.Other major projects include the integration of SAP Business One with the Networked Trade Platform, a trade and logistics IT ecosystem developed by the Singapore Government. In recognition of our early support for the platform, we received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Government.

As SAP Business Unit Manager, in 2017 I led the execution of AFON’s biggest SAP Business One deployment to date, with 160 users in six to seven countries. Other major projects include a deployment of SAP Business One HANA on Microsoft Azure, the first such implementation by a SAP Partner in Singapore.• Management scope expanded to include our team of technical consultants.• Allocating resources and leading team to implement effective deployments. • Continued involvement in client-facing work, i.e. pre-sales consultation and solutions design. • Close interaction with clients to understand their needs, devise solutions, and to assist them in adapting to new systems and business processes.

As Technical Manager, I was responsible for training my team to be proficient in SAP HANA. SAP HANA is a relational database management system, that works like Microsoft’s SQL.Having enabled them, I led them through our first deployment of SAP Business One on HANA, as well as a conversion of our customer’s existing SAP Business One on SQL setup to HANA.• Placed in charge of helpdesk team and a group of three to four programmers.• Providing pre-sales and post-implementation support for clients, i.e. business consultancy, requirement studies, and troubleshooting.• Managing project timelines to ensure on-time deployments.

In 2012, I led the team as one of the key programmers, in a project to integrate SAP Business One and SAP ECC for Harley Davidson. We became the first SAP partner in the region to implement such a deployment; our efforts were recognised by SAP with the Best SAP Deployment award.Our business unit won SAP Singapore Partner of the Year in 2008 for the first time in AFON’s history. Since then we’ve gone on to win the award for seven years running.• Providing post-sales and post-implementation support including requirements gathering, program coding, and user training.
