Phd Researcher
During my PhD studies in nuclear physics at KU Leuven, and part of the MEDICIS-Promed Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network of the Horizon 2020 EU program, I worked on the development of a PET-aided hadron therapy protocol for the treatment of cancer. Therefore, I developed a production system for mass separated, high intensity carbon-11 beams. For this research project I liaised different disciplines as nuclear physics, material engineering and accelerator physics.
