A highly experienced, adaptable and visionary business leader with an outstanding and provable career spanning almost 30 years and covering 4 continents. Winning numerous accolades, I have worked relentlessly to build a reputation as someone who can be relied upon to get the job done, no matter how complex or highly pressured the environment. Following the successful completion of an extremely high profile 2 year process automation campaign within HSBC, I took a change of direction, left the industry for a recharge, bought a hill farm in Portugal, rebuilt and improved the buildings, developed the land, launched it as a rural business and recently sold it to a competitor. In parallel I opened my own consulting firm to allow me to work with organisations on an interim basis or to support a particular project or initiative. Please see Services section below.Alongside my “day job” and following a series of personal losses and experiences, I took the chance to develop my skill set and trained as an “active listener” and consider myself a passionate mental health advocate. Focussing particularly on PTSD and “Corporate Burnout”, I have published numerous articles and thought pieces, spoken at events and conferences, participated on podcasts and radio, provided mentoring to individuals and groups and done my upmost to advocate awareness of corporate fatigue and stress related breakdown.I believe firmly that growth and resilience are bolstered by the challenges you overcome and the mistakes you learn from. Being aware of your strengths and weaknesses, understanding how to manage them, constantly working to improve yourself and being non-judgmental of others is fundamental to me and forms the core of how I approach my business and personal life.
