I am currently looking for a new challenge and a new role in the public sector, the not-for-profit community services sector or as a contractor providing a range of senior leadership, management and governance and services.I have extensive experience in the Queensland Public Sector having been engaged in 10 discrete roles across seven different State agencies over my career. These roles have encompassed several skill sets including executive and team leadership, operational management, strategy development, service delivery innovation and improvement for community and industry, stakeholder engagement, risk management, policy development and implementation, change management and organisational governance improvement at a senior level. Since 2003, I have enjoyed appointments to seven different senior and executive roles. These leadership roles related to agency-level corporate governance improvement projects, drug testing services for the racing industry, agency executive leadership, budget and financial management, asset management, corporate governance service delivery, business planning and performance, sport infrastructure development and front-line regional community sport service delivery and stakeholder engagement. As Director, Racing Science Centre (RSC), I was a member of the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) Executive Leadership Team and an active contributor to a range of client-focussed service development, corporate governance and operational policy matters for a brand new organisation. This included provision of high-quality advice to the CEO on RSC priorities, deliverables and operations, innovation of new capabilities and contributions to whole-of-agency issues and strategy development. I effectively engaged with and contributed to all of the strategic and operational planning, strategy development and implementation, performance monitoring, policy review and refinement activities associated with an executive leadership role and as an internal key stakeholder.
