I have a passion for innovation and building scalable businesses.After a 10+ year career in the Australian Army I transitioned into Financial Services where I ultimately became the Managing Partner of a large Financial Planning practice. During my time in the practice I led the business through a significant growth phase. Along the journey and in pursuit of more scalable growth, our practice partnered with Implemented Portfolios, an innovative investment management firm. I went on to perform various strategic and sales roles at Implemented Portfolios, I was a director of the business for 8 years.After 10 successful years in Financial Services I was ready for a new challenge, I was energised by the challenge of pursuing something entrepreneurial & disruptive. In late 2015 I exited the Financial Planning business and I went on to co-found EzLicence, a tech ‘start-up’ company. I led the business up until 2023.EzLicence is home to Australia’s largest community of independent driving instructors. We are a two-party technology platform that connects learner drivers & driving instructors online in real time. We take the hassle out of finding, choosing & booking a driving instructor.
