A few years ago, the concept of shopper marketing didn't exist. Even now, there are multiple definitions and interpretations of exactly what it is, so I'll not try and close it down with a definition of my own. What is clear is that with the fragmentation of media consumption, along with a uniquely strong pair of grocery retailers, there is a need to think differently and act collaboratively.
