Working on two separate global releases, I was initially the sole Data Conversion consultant for the implementation of Ariba’s Strategic Sourcing suite. I was responsible for all aspects of the data conversion and migration that enabled this key milestone. I then became the Lead Data Conversion consultant for the Commercial function, overseeing a team of functional and technical consultants. I was responsible for ensuring their completion of the various deliverables and the successful conversion of legacy data into the new SAP S/4HANA landscape.• Accountable for the successful conversion of Orica's vendors and procurement contracts and their documents to Ariba’s Strategic Sourcing suite.• Accountable for the successful data conversion for the full SAP Cloud for Customer implementation which included the migration of: customers; opportunities; employee assignments; and, cases.• Accountable for the successful data conversion of Orica’s sales contracts into SAP CPM combining data from the already live SAP Cloud for Customer, legacy SAP ECC and collected data to result in valid contracts.• Key in the design of Orica’s future Master Data governance model as well as the approach to ensure GDPR compliance while migrating personal data.

As the Data Architect on a global business transformation project delivering new Business Process, Data, Applications, and Technology based on the SAP S/4HANA suite I was responsible for the creation of the Data Conversion and Cleanse Approach, Master Data Standards, Data cleanse reports, and Data KPI reports, in addition to evaluating data conversion and master data software. My extensive knowledge of the Orica organisation, business processes, products and customers, in addition to my technical knowledge of the CranSoft tool, supported my engagement with business and project functional resources to complete assigned deliverables and contribute to the success of the plan and analyse project.• Completed Human Resources and Marketing Data Conversion and Cleanse Approach Design Documents.• Designed, built and implemented with the Business DataDialysis data cleanse reports for all functional streams that simplified and reduced the upcoming data migration effort by targeting areas that were: "quick wins"; had a long lead time so needed to be started early; and, those that required changes in current processes.• Designed and documented the foundation Address data standard that was to be applied to all systems and data objects.

I was responsible for the governance of key global SAP master data, with a focus on the SAP Customer master. I lead, or participate, in master data related projects such as SAP implementations or integrations, this included a varied role on the Global Enterprise Platform Program (GEP). Finally, to provide training and mentor-ship to my fellow the Global MDM Team and wider Business as needed, particularly with respect to CranSoft.• Completed all loads for the GEP Salesforce.com roll-out for LATAM, North America and Africa, in additional to providing key design guidance while acting as the GEP Data Architect.• After in-depth business consultation and engagement, I implementation a global standardised SAP Customer hierarchy and harmonised the use of marketing fields on the Customer master to allow Orica to have globally consistent reporting that enabled better understanding of their Customer mix.• Implementation of the GEP Integrated Supply Chain Planning solution for Europe as the Data Architect in the team.• Managed the transferring of master data management to the central MDM Team, this centralisation increased controls and to create an efficient repeatable process.• Built a Proof of Concept for the Vendor and Customer create and change request system in the BackOffice Associates cApps tool, including in-built data validations that aligned to the Orica data rules.• Created a data cleansing strategy and reports to enable a co-ordinated and effective approach to data cleansing across all Orica Functions and Regions.• Created a WebApp application to manage the change requests submitted to the Global Master Data Management Team with respect to the CranSoft MDM application solution.• Acted as a key data integration resource for the Mining Services Belgium and Minova Australia SAP implementation.

The role was to become the Orica CranSoft expert in all areas of the CranSoft tools through gaining knowledge from the project BOA consultants and formal training while working as a productive member of the data migration team. This included the development and deployment of: data migration rules; the global master data management tool; and, the governance rules and usage policies. I also needed to co-ordinate the migration requirements of the existing legacy system data across all entities in the preparation for the migration to Orica SAP, including data mappings, provision of advice on data cleansing, construction and migration activities and mitigation of risks and issues in addition to contributing to planning, scoping and estimation of the MDM deployment and operational activities. Finally, I conduct a number of training sessions and facilitated the Sales and Distribution Mapping workshop. • Conducted the Sales and Distribution field mapping workshop with global business representatives.• Built and successfully tested loads for Sales and Distribution tables from legacy SAP system to the new SAP client.• Built Customer and Vendor cleansing/construction tool to allow for efficient data construction within the CranSoft tool.

I assisted business users to understand their reporting and information needs and advised what BI solutions can best meet them. I managed and participated on projects that implement BI solutions, including the design, build and roll-out of BI solutions as per identified agreed business requirements. Manage the SAP BusinessWarehouse system by maintain Master Data, data Cubes, BEx and Business Objects reports as well as monitor loads and implement system upgrades. Support business BI applications and customer’s general BI enquires.• Successfully presented “Enhancing Orica’s Users’ Experience” at the 2009 Mastering Business Objects Asia/Pacific conference.• Designed, built, and implemented the Mining Services R&D management dashboard which combined data from SAP and Lotus Notes to provide Orica visibility of their R&D conversion to market.• Managed a project to implement the New Zealand import statistics reporting suite and personally designed and built the reporting suite.

The timely running and exiting of all payrolls maintained by Orica was my responsibility along with maintaining the New Zealand and International Assignees payrolls.
