I am a professional direct Sales and Marketing Trainer with expertise in developing and training extremely successful sales and marketing teams within the UPVC and solar PV industries both in the UK and now Australia. I have a broad range of experience in the industry, starting many years ago as a UPVC installer progressing to installation manager through to installation and production manager. Over the last ten years I have worked as sales manager and trainer. I have assisted several companies in not only improving their performance and reducing marketing costs but assisted them turning their company back into a profitable and flourishing business. My strengths are assessing sales and marketing teams to identify areas for improvement then developing strategies to improve performance by creating programs, presentations and training that increases leads and sales. I am an exception man manager and have managed teams from three staff through to twenty where I was the youngest member of staff. I am a firm believer in exceptional communication and good process led business practices.

Reporting directly to the Commercial and Group Operations Directors. Develop and implement new training and development strategies to assist the company turn around declining sales, improving installation techniques, customer experience and touch points through effective training. Plan effective training programs ensuring the requirements of the company are met and maintained. Develop training manuals, materials and monitoring systems. Introduce best practice in the sales, marketing, administration and installation teams. Create and develop new sales presentations for the sales team ensuring all sales are sold within company policy and accreditation body rules.

Reporting directly to the General Manager and Board of Directors and responsible for 4 area managers, 12 sales staff, The telemarketing office of 8 including the supervisor and two administration staff, responsibility for analysing company, area and individual sales and marketing performance and developing recruitment and training strategies with a range of tools assisting the area managers and marketing manager with recruitment, motivation, training including attending assisted client sits and personal development of their respective teams. I also Coach, train and mentor the area managers and marketing manager improving their understanding of cost effectiveness and performance and that of their teams. Identifying sales training requirements and implementing regular sales meetings and training sessions as required. Assist the installation manager with training the installation teams. Restructure and improve procedures and performance of the direct marketing teams. Ensure company procedures, margins and processes are adhered to.
