Project: Investigating and defining outcomes of suprapatellar versus infrapatellar intramedullary nailing of tibial shaft fractures.Clinical trial management: coordinate recruitment, patient imaging, clinical review, and gait lab appointments; automate and streamline healthy case-matched cohort search with custom Python scripts and Rshiny apps; liaise with hospital staff and medical imaging centres. Research: summarise and analyse key literature with NVivo (qualitative data analysis software); conduct structured reviews using Covidence (online systematic review management tool); summarise and present findings using R and Rmarkdown (can programmatically generate manuscripts/posters/presentations with desired output including Word, pdf, HTML, PowerPoint, and Latex).Data acquisition: motion capture (Vicon Nexus), force platforms, EMG, force sensitive resistors, dynamometer. Developed several methods to streamline data collection process: MATLAB GUI to remotely trigger Nexus via UDP trigger; Rshiny app for visual analogue scores; Google forms for capturing patient reported outcome measures. Data analysis and data visualisation: MATLAB, musculoskeletal modelling (OpenSim), R, Rmarkdown, develop image processing techniques, statistical analysis. Trial reporting: programmatic and automated reporting with Rmarkdown, interactive dashboards with Rshiny
