Tolley Viticulture P/L is a strategic vineyard management company that aims to assist vineyard owners and wineries to obtain maximum efficiencies with total vineyard management or associated vineyard services. Tolley Viticulture is owned by SImon Tolley, a qualified and experienced viticulturist who graduated from the Adelaide University in 1999. Tolley Viticulture has evolved from a long history associated with the Australian Wine Industry. Simon's Great, Great, Great Grandfather Albion Tolley started a wine & spirit trading business in 1874 (Peel Street) and with his son, Douglas Tolley, they were part of the Tolley Scott and Tolley distillery. Albion and Douglas later established vineyards in 1892 at Hope Valley. Together they built the winery (at Hope Valley) and vineyards were later developed (by Douglas's son Len, and his sons Peter, David & Reg - Pedare acronym) in the Barossa, Waikerie and Padthaway wine regions. When the Tolley family wine business sold to Mildara Blass in the early 1990's, Simon & his father, Andrew developed a 27 Hectare vineyard in Woodside in the Adelaide Hills, growing Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Shiraz.Tolley Viticulture was since created and now supplies vineyard services to the following wineries within the Adelaide Hills:- Bird in Hand, Petaluma, Fox Gordon, Artwine, Murdoch Hill, Hills Harvest, Yacca Paddock & Mt Torrens Estate.Tolley Viticulture has a strong affiliation with DJ's Growers Supplies at Woodside in the Adelaide Hills. DJ's Growers supplies merchandise to all agricultural sectors (pasture, horticulture, strawberries, potatoes, broad-acre) and supplies technical services: field consultation, advice, soil moisture monitoring, pest/disease monitoring, soil & petiole sampling for analysis by qualified and experienced agronomists. The merchandise store can supply fertiliser, seed supply, agrochemicals, fencing (posts, wire), irrigation, fodder, and specialise in organic products for all agri-sectors.
