The role actually commenced in 2012 alongside consultancy support to Genesis. Currently providing Materials and Corrosion contractor support to Shell UK Project and Technology Group who are based in Aberdeen. Role includes technical support for all subsea, topsides and onshore projects from feasibility phase through to execute (construction and installation). This role also includes providing Technical Assurance. Projects have ranged from FPSO topsides design on Penguins process modules through to Carbon Capture and Disposal FEED engineering for the Perterhead Power Station to Goldeneye project.

Provision of Materials, Metallurgy and Corrosion Engineering Technical Support to all in-house projects for Oil and Gas Operators and Major Installation Contractors, ranging from Concept Engineering to Detailed Design, Procurement and Fabrication. Predominantly Subsea and Pipelines Engineering Work scope focused, but also provide support to Process, Flow Assurance, Facilities, Risk, Safety and Environmental Skills Groups on Topsides and Onshore Project. Also involved with Materials Integrity support for Subsea Operations/Asset Integrity division within Genesis.Responsible for co-ordinating Aberdeen Materials Group support together with Genesis London Materials Group for all Genesis Regional Offices Worldwide

working within Genesis for contract specific ISSC group managing integrity of north sea subsea assets for Amerada Hess - including AH001 (+Renee Rubie), Flora and Angus tiebacks to Uisge Gorm, Guillemott West and Clapham field tie backs to Triton and Hudson field tieback to Tern platform
