I am a highly experienced React / Typescript frontend developer, with over 11 years experience of delivering scaleable solutions for a variety of different clients and sectors. I have a wide gamut of technical knowledge that spans both frontend and backend areas, however my strongest skills lie in frontend UI implementations and API integration delivery. I have experience in developing for and configuring the CampusM product and proven integration experience with SOAP & REST APIs, integrating PeopleSoft with Campus M, WPM and applications using React. Primarily this work was for the successful integration of a new student mobile application platform.I have a strong interest in responsive design and user interaction interfaces and channel all development work through these concepts where possible to improve the user experience and journey through the application.Prior to this I had several years of experience as a functional analyst in the HE sector, gathering requirements and providing functional specifications for development requests, challenging decisions where necessary and contributing to solutions.I have a background in web design and commercial photography which led me to work as a wedding photographer and also a web developer for several years, providing a full planning to wedding album delivery.
