Started in 2007 with a internship. The assignment was to develop a modular payment service for handling the payment part of order on travel websites.After finishing my study I continued to work as a software engineer at TSi-Solutions. Soon I became the lead developer of that project followed by becoming the Team leader.The project I worked on is a back-office product. It involves JSF, ORM (cayenne) and connections with external services. As software development method we are using scrum. As part of my job at TSi I do some teaching and coaching of students from the Saxion University. As lessons and assignments.After 4 years I switched to Carthago-ICT, where I worked for Monuta building a Groovy Grails application and at Thales where I worked on a distributed swing application with OSGi and Open Splice.My next assignment was the BAG at Kadaster. The BAG involves a lot of XML, webservices and spring. As a closing assignment I have build the bag viewer, which was my fist AngularJS application.At Wolters Kluwer I worked on an Identity and Access Management, build a interface with SAP and worked on the robustness of the application. After a year my worked continued at the Kluwer product PuMa, which again was a big Java application with spring and handling a lot of XML data. In the last year we did a lot of research for the successor which involved triple stores and alfresco.Currently I'm working at KPN/Reggefiber on a spring application. The front-end was build in AngularJS but is now upgraded to the most recent version of Angular. Also did a lot of library updates, functionality migrated to different services and security and code improvements.In the mean time at Carthago I got involved in talent and expertise development. Coaching junior developers and improving the way we as a company share knowledge. At the current moment this also involves HR and participating in MT.
