I started off as an engineer when I finished my M. Sc. degree as a mechanical engineer at the Institute of Technology atLinköping University 2015. I wrote my master thesis on the subject of finite element analysis of the windingsequence for large cable drums in the offshore industry.My first employment was as a consultant at FS Dynamics where I worked as a CAE engineer for structural calculations. I focused on topology optimization of casted automotivecomponents, multi-body simulations of suspension systems, hand calculations, FEA and fatigue evalutionof piping supports, containment penetrations and tees. The last project I worked on at FSD was at Volvo Cars where I worked with concept evaluation, calculations and testing of traction batteries. This suits me very good since it has a good mixture of state of the art technology and also crash, fatigue and strength calculations. During 2020 I got the opportunity to make it a permanent spot at Volvo Cars and that is where I currently work today.
