• I was engaged as Solution Architect and Project Manager working of part of a team carrying out service transition from a traditional data centre with physical hardware to a new bespoke private cloud solution supplied.
• Supported development of a design for service in the new cloud environment and presented solution at TDA.
• Liaised with security team to perform internal reviews and external pen-testing.
• Produced go-live documentation including change controls, service introductions, support and security acceptance, presented regular reports to senior managers, key stakeholders, business owners and clients.
• Implemented a bespoke NCA Tools Assessment Gateway for the Department for Education.
• Delivered solutions including an NHS supply chain DHL Logistics System and Standards for Highways.

• During this period, I was engaged as Project Manager to deliver a business-critical programme of core infrastructure upgrades to the Councils’ shared IT service as part of a small team. In addition:
• Managed and resolved issues left by previous supplier to bring the infrastructure up to date and into compliance.
• Led deployment of equipment including HP servers, Nimble SAN, Commvault Backup and Cisco switches.
• Spearheaded the refit of server rooms including new power sources, racks and data cabling.
• Oversaw the replacement of core network and access switches across all sites with new Cisco kit.
• Directed the migration of DMZ services to a new virtual infrastructure.

• I was engaged as Technical Project Manager to provide global oversight and direction for a major client – BP which involved completing 400 servers per annum as part of the end of life service hardware refresh and.
• Led and coordinated multiple teams across different countries and time zones in line with local working practices and required permits.
• Directed the end to end migration onto new HP or Oracle SUN hardware, BP private cloud (VMWare) and AWS.
• Spearheaded deployment of a new Lync infrastructure to support 80,000 users.
• Executed the successful upgrade of Unix Global Authentication system for 2,000 users.
• Managed the deployment of new global DHCP clusters including migration of all scopes.

• The purpose of this assignment was to manage and provide continuity of project delivery during insourcing phase for major business-critical ICT projects. In addition:
• Led end to end rollout of a virtual desktop (VMWare VDI) to 3,600 staff.
• Managed the upgrade of Ericsson MXOne telephone system.
• Established a hot-standby DR environment.

• During this period, I was engaged as Project Manager to lead delivery of projects for the London Borough of Hackney including data centre migration, infrastructure refresh and system implementations. In addition:
• Implemented a new SAN and blade infrastructure and led migration of services.
• Led a business-critical data centre move from a fully managed hosting provider to a new site with co-lo hosting.
