This work compliments my private practice work very well and both fields can help inform the growth of each in so many ways. It’s been a year in development but it’s all systems go!

Sometimes, we just haven’t given ourselves time and space to explore our feelings, challenges and hopes for the future. I am here to offer you that space and time, and to be with you as you move forward. My belief is that we all have the ability to change our lives, and face and resolve personal challenges through Person Centred (talking) therapy, and the relationship formed between client and counsellor is a key part of this process. I am qualified as an Integrative Person Centred Counsellor and would be happy to discuss any area of support you may feel you need. Most recently, I have been working with clients needing support with sexual health related issues (including sexuality, homophobia and discrimination), mainly in the Gay Men’s and LGBTI communities. I am a BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy) Registered Counsellor. I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling which I obtained from CPCAB (Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body). I work within the BACP ethical framework and adhere to the BACP’s complaints procedure. Currently supporting a workforce >1000 employees currently across UK (often remotely), with occasional requirements to support cases and projects EMEA-wide or globally. Main role responsibilities:Coaching Managers on Employee Relations Issues in respect of :• Interpretation and compliance to HR guidelines, policies and local legal compliance• Performance management process, discipline and discharge (per defined policy) monitor repeat poor performance situations, support exit situations. Coach managers and hold them accountable for Year round Performance Management messages (ensuring managers gather data/documentation and talk to employees real-time with potential performance messages)• Manage Disciplinary situations/warnings in line with legislation• Redundancy planning and execution • Mediation• Managing long term sickness cases and provide support/recommendations Employee Relations environment, investigations/appeals & complaints: • Conduct Employee Relations Investigation (interviews, data collection & analysis, determine case strategy, draw conclusions, identify solutions and recommendations, effectively close the meetings, document the investigation).• Effectively assess employee relations situations• Identify legal risks • Recommended solutions that balance business needs, legal requirements, and employee needs• Partner with managers to promote positive employee relations – identify trends (e.g. turnover trends and issues) and drive solutions• “Walk the floor” (ensure visibility) be known as a resource to employees• Conduct monthly monitoring of the employee relations environment. Coach employees on the appeals process/escalation path as applicable• Move appropriate investigations to HR Legal team and provide support to HR Legal team as required • Key player in any Workforce response situation/HR legal investigations.• Manage local legal compliance requirements• Manage, write and maintain site ER and HR policies
