I joined alinea consulting in August 2018 having been at Mace Cost Consultancy as Head of Datacentres & Technology and previously worked at Deloitte Real Estate and Gardiner & Theobald where I directed the engineering services team. I also worked at Arcadis (formally AYH) for 4 years and started my career as a contractors quantity surveyor with Taylor Woodrow operating mainly in the Private Commercial Sector.I have over 25 year’s experience of financial and cost management of all aspects of capital construction projects with a particular specialism in engineering services within the Data Centre and Technology sector . My current role within Mace Cost Consultancy is head of Data Centers and Technology whilst at Deloitte Real Estate my role was divided between carrying out traditional lead Cost Management (Quantity Surveyor) role on a number of high profile schemes and providing Project Management services on a major data centre project. I also worked closely with Deloitte Consulting (Technology Infrastructure, Risk Regulation & Continuity, Finance, M&A & Tax service lines),I have delivered many diverse projects from multi million pound master plan schemes to small commercial fit-outs and have worked on a wide range of real estate consultancy lead engagements involving construction commercial management, due diligence, purchase/disposal, investment appraisals and real estate consolidation reviews. My core area of expertise includes cost planning, procurement, pre/post contract cost management, contract administration and value engineering. Whist my experience has predominantly been in the Datacenter, Commercial corporate/occupier, new build & fit out office sector, I have also gained extensive experience in Infrastructure, Residential, Education, Retail, Sports, Arts & Culture, Healthcare and with public bodies.
