As scientific project manager at nal von minden GmbH, the development of in vitro diagnostics is my daily routine. Here, I am focusing on the infamous rapid tests. My broad method spectrum helps me a lot in this industry sector: starting from nucleic acid isolation to protein analytics I did and established different techniques in the lab. Besides the lab work, I am responsible for the development of the automated rapid test production in Göttingen.Something I already enjoyed during my PhD-time, is now a big part of my job: interdisciplinary work with people from totally different fields. I like to explain my work to others and love to get insights into new topics. For me, it does not matter if I learn about a new lab method, quality management or injection molding – picking up new knowledge is important to me.In my free-time, I am organizing cultural events in my hometown. If I need a break, I go hiking in the Harz mountains – in the end, I am still a biologist ;)
