Mechanical Engineer and originally a Toolmaker by trade.Main experience is multi-axis special-purpose machine build generally covering all apects from initial concept and feasibility through to concept design, design for manufacture, detailing, prototyping and machining then finally assembly, designing and programming control systems, wiring and commissioning.I have an interest in motorsport and cars in general - I have a Renault Sport (Alpine) Clio Cup Race Car (Mk4) as a track car. As well as engines I also have a particular interest in chassis dynamics and race-car suspension setup so get to spend the occasional few hours designing and building set-up equipment which I can use and develop on the track car.Also do a fair bit of running.
